May 5, 1996
Okatee Mission officially became Okatee Baptist Church.
August 2012
Okatee Baptist Preschool was begun.
Spring 1990
Okatee Baptist Church started as a mission of Maye River Baptist Church.
Nov. 16, 2003
The church broke ground for the education building.
Oct. 20, 1996
A ground-breaking service was held for the church building.
Sept. 12, 1994
The closing was held on the purchase of the current property.
January 2006
Rev. Tim Tomlinson became the pastor of Okatee Baptist Church.
